My grandfather always joked that there was treasure hidden in their pale yellow colonial home on 6A in Yarmouth Port, once owned by Captain Thacher Taylor. We spent our childhoods searching the walls for it - and as I've gotten older, I've realized it was hiding in plain sight all along: the closets full of interesting finds, the photographs passed down through generations, the odd antiques that only they would find.
